Consists of 340 acres of grasslands and woods around a 75-acre reservoir. In the spring and summer in the grasslands there are Grasshopper Sparrow, occasional Greater Prairie Chickens, Northern Harrier, Eastern and Western Meadowlark, Lark Sparrow, Upland Sandpiper, and Horned Lark. In the spring and fall the lake can attract a variety of waterfowl such as Lesser Scaup, American Wigeon, Bufflehead, Redhead, Northern Pintail and Blue-winged Teal. The wetland areas and edges of the lake attract Marsh Wrens, Common Yellowthroat, Sora, and Great Blue Heron.
