Area 128 acres. Wetlands (sandpit lakes) along the North Platte River. Waterfowl can be found on the lakes and on the North Platte River during spring and fall migration. Vireos, W. Pewees, 4-5 Woodpecker species, GH Owls and Screech Owls like the mature cottonwood trees here. Camping and fishing permitted. Park entry permit required.
