Ogallala Strip Wildlife Management Area

This stretch of riparian wooded habitats supports many of the same species found around Lake Ogallala, such as house wren, yellow warbler, common yellowthroat, eastern and western kingbirds, killdeer, and others. Mississippi kites now breed in nearby Ogallala.
