These famous Oregon Trail landmarks have had nesting golden eagles (on Jail Rock), and breeding rock wrens are common. By driving west on State Highway 88 to Redington one can take the Redington Gap road (look there for pinyon jays and Cassin’s kingbirds) to Facus Springs and Bridgeport, or go south from Redington.
